Jumia Mobile Week Promo to wow customers with 80% discount on smartphones, tablets et. al from 19th-25th March

Ghana’s online shopping giant, Jumia Ghana has announced plans to give every customer the shopping experience of a lifetime with a mega 80 percent discount on purchase of assorted mobile phones, tablets and accessories on its website (www.jumia.com.gh) starting from March 19-25, 2018.
This is only made possible through the power of Jumia Mobile Week Promotion intended to wow every customer who wants to shop for their favorite mobile phones, tablets and its accessories at an amazing low prices.
The one week campaign which touted as the biggest mobile sale of the year by Jumia Ghana is expected to sell out over 15,000 mobile phone, tablets and its accessories.
At a media interaction in Accra on Monday, February 28, Head of Marketing, Jumia Ghana, Joseph Owusu Badu explained this year’s Jumia Mobile Week promotion seeks to make smartphones affordable so everyone can own it.
It equally seeks to encourage people to visit Jumia online platform to buy not only smartphones but also varieties of products being offered for sale with discount.
He explained the one week campaign which is being championed by Jumia Ghana is made possible through partnership with various brands such as Hwawei, Samsung, Infinix, Techno, Nokia among others.
Mr. Badu disclosed apart from the 80% discount being offered to shoppers during the campaign period, there will also be a lot of giveaways including winning of IPhone X on part of those who visit the Jumia’s website regularly to make a transaction.
In addition there will also be an incentive very soon for people who download the Jumia app.
“Over the period a lot of people will also get stuffs like free modems, free sim cards with loaded data including free talk time from MTN” he added.
Last year the Jumia Mobile Week campaign witnessed the sale of 1.5 million sales of smartphones in Africa with the highest discount of 40% offered by Jumia.
Jumia Ghana believes this year’s mobile week campaign will be twice as big as last year hence the idea to offer as high as 80% discount on any purchase of mobile devices.
However, the expectation is that Jumia will sell out 45,000 in Nigeria while 15,000 mobile phones will be sold in Ghana during the period.
