VegGhana launches 2017 Vegfest to be marked on December 1st

The Founder and Director of Health Works Ghana, Dr. Samuel Sasu has appealed to all Ghanaians to rally behind farmers who are into cultivation of organic food crops and support them financially to grow more foodstuffs to feed the nation. According to him most foodstuffs produced in the country today are either Genetically Modified Organism(GMOs), inorganic or those produced using bad methods which simply lacks the required standards for consumption therefore inimical to the health of people. He was speaking at the launch of 2017 VegGhana Vegfest on the the topic Vegan, Vegetarianism and Healthy Lifestyles. His burning love for coconut juice supersedes every other desire but he is much focused in life with the development of his country high on his agenda. These days he goes gaga with a very big spoon in the bag from place to place absorbing coconut juice and scooping off its fruit from the shell into his buccal cavity “nyafunyafu”. The Country Manager for Google Ghana, Ms.Estelle Akofio-Sowah has charged  businesses to constantly make use of social media platforms to tell their stories instead of allowing others to use it to tarnish their image. According to her, most Ghanaian businesses are not taking due advantage of social media to market their brands instead they sit unconcerned while other competitors or miscreants make good use of it to fabricate and publish negative stories about them that are indeed injurious to their survival.
