MedRx team from Ghana has emerged as one of the successful teams who will get the opportunity to attend the Entrepreneurship Festival, hosted at the University Of Cape Town Graduate School Of Business in South Africa for the final round of the MTN Entrepreneurship Challenge powered by Jumia. MedRx app is an interactive health platform for all users who have health needs. The app connects users to health personnel from various fields of practice including hospital, pharmacy, laboratory and academia. The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Victor Bampoe has observed the country has made a significant gain in reduction of morbidity and mortality among children under five years since the introduction of the Expanded Programme on Immunization in Ghana in 1978.  “It is worthy to note that since 2002, Ghana has not recorded any deaths from measles and no case of wild polio virus infection has been reported since 2008”. “Neonatal tetanus has also been eliminated from the country since 2008”, he added.
