COP21 PARIS 2015: OUR LEADERS MUST TAKE GOOD DECISION

We have indeed come to the cross road where each and every one of us are  begging for answers to end the deadly climate change which has rocked the world casting its devastating effects on every living thing on earth especially we humans.   I do believe the first approach to tackling this issue starts with our world leaders and negotiators in whose hands the fate of our beloved planet lies. They will be made to take a decision whether good or bad which  is expected to free the world from the harrowing effects of the climate change. But the question is…..are our leaders ready to make a good decision that can transform the world from bad to good? For 0ver 200 years efforts have been made to document the traces and impacts of climate change. Of interest it is a turning point of greatest records of climate change effects hitting the pinnacle in 2015 ahead of the crucial conference of parties (COP21 PARIS 2015   ) reminding us the important role our leaders   can play and

IPPF Regional Boss visits Accra Today

Mr Lucien Kouakou, the International Planned Parenthood Federation Regional Director for Africa (IPPFAR) was in  Accra today Monday, September, 14,  2015, for a one-day visit. The Regional Director who resides in Nairobi was in the country to confer with the Regional Chairperson of IPPF Africa Region Advocate Mr Kwaku Brenu and also met the PPAG Volunteers and staff. His visit coincides with the development of a new strategic plan for PPAG which is based on IPPF Strategic Framework. The Regional Director will also announce IPPF support to the First Lady and the President of the Organisation of African First Ladies Against AIDS (OAFLA) advocacy program on prevention of cervical cancer and HIV in AFRICA. Specifically IPPF is supporting the First Lady's cervical cancer in Ghana program with $30, 000 for the next three months. Toyota Ghana renews distributorship agreement

Toyota Ghana Company Limited has renewed its distributorship agreement with the world’s largest automobile manufacturer, Toyota Motor Corporation, by signing a three-year contract which takes effect from October, 2015. Toyota Ghana MD Tetsuya Suematsu (R) says the signing endorses his firm as sole distributor of Toyota vehicles in Ghana It is the first time in history since 2000 that a distributorship agreement between Toyota Ghana Limited (TGCL) and its partner, Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC), has taken place. Speaking during the signing ceremony in Accra on Thursday, Managing Director of Toyota Ghana Limited, Tetsuya Suematsu disclosed that with the new agreement, Toyota Ghana is identified as the manufacturer’s sole distributor in Ghana. He further explained: “By signing this agreement, Toyota Ghana’s mandate has been renewed as the sole company in Ghana authorized by the Toyota Motor Corporation, manufacturers of Toyota products, to sell Toyota vehicle
