Diplomatic Platform tours Ashanti Region; donates cash, registers 500 Underprivileged under NHIS
An NDC youth group, Diplomatic Platform, has extended its charity arm towards a total of 500 underprivileged dwellers at Adansi Anhwiaso, a village located in Adansi Asokwa Constituency of the Ashanti Region, by getting them registered under the National Health Insurance Scheme free of charge. The group toured some parts of area last week purposely to reach out to the poor rural dwellers in their bid to help them meet their health needs by guarantying their easy enrollment onto the National Health Insurance Scheme. In all, a total of 500 beneficiaries, both men and women, were registered and their NHIS cards handed to them instantly to help them access healthcare whenever the need arose.
