Unopposed Ephraim Agidi retained as Accra regional chairman of ICU

His candidature was declared unopposed after his nomination to contest the Accra Regional chairmanship slot for the Industrial and Commercial Workers Union (ICU) was announced, guaranteeing his chances for reelection into office for a second term. The unopposed Ephraim Kodzo Agidi, the former Accra Regional Chairman of ICU was retained in office for a second term by delegates of Accra Regional ICU Council amidst standing ovation and rousing welcome. It was at a   two-day regional conference of the Accra Regional ICU, an event set aside to elect new seven-member executive council to be sworn-in to office for the next four years after the old executives were dissolved. It was held at the ICU’s office building at Kokomlemle in Accra on Friday 17, 2016.
