The National Women's Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Otiko Afisa Djaba, says Ghana’s growth  from a lower-income to a middle-income status can be only be achieved if women are empowered to go to into farming and trading, which are the two major areas that drive the growth of every nation. Flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC) Dr. Edward Nasigre Mahama has assured youth in the Krowor Constituency of the Greater Accra Region that “there's no need to worry anymore” since his government is capable and committed to fix the issues of youth unemployment that has bedevilled the country for a long time now.
