Korle Bu gets Van Moorhouse Foundation support
As part of efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the country, Van Moorhouse Foundation, an NGO committed to enhancing lives of the underprivileged in the society, has extended its charity arm to the Renal and Oncology Units of the Child Health Department of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital with assorted items worth GH¢10,000. It has also presented an unspecified amount of cash to support the payment of hospital bills including drug prescriptions among others of the disadvantaged children. The items included cartons of bottled mineral water, clothes, toiletries, toys, books, mackintosh bed, diapers and food.
