Joseph Kobla Wemakor adjudged the most influential student media personnel of GIJ

Freelance Journalist Joseph Kobla Wemakor has been adjudged the most influential student media personnel of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) at the maiden edition of ‘Campus Clique’ award ceremony held on Friday, April 1 at the school’s premises. The honor was an acknowledgement of his immense contribution towards reporting on developmental issues – including poverty eradication in Ghana – that affect the lives of women and children in the society. The Campus Clique event is a brainchild of Sparkplug-Gh aimed at providing a platform to engage, motivate and mentor students to enable them think broadly to become creative and innovative in diverse ways. The award winner Joseph Kobla Wemakor, an ardent online reporter and a prolific writer of no mean repute, is a student offering Communication Studies. Joseph is highly passionate about using his God-given talent in solving problems and that has helped him achieve many feats to his credit within the media cycle.
