ISACA PROVIDES FOR ACCRA PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL

  MR. C. . BRUCE PRESENTING THE ITEM TO THE WARD NURSE President of the Information Systems Audit and Control (ISACA) Accra-Chapter, Mr.   Columbus K. Bruce has presented a brand new LG 14Kg Washing Machine with a dryer to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital to help cater for the needs of the unfortunate ones. Presenting the item on behalf of the Accra- Chapter of ISACA, Columbus Bruce said the donation formed part of the company's corporate social responsibility and will serve as a relief to the nurses to attend to the washing needs of the disadvantaged inmates. MTN CEO’S INVITATIONALGOLF TOURNAMENT WITNESSED A HUGE PATRONAGE

The MTN CEO’s invitational golf tournament was organized at the Damang Goldfields Golf Course in the Prestea Huni Valley district of the Western Region where 83 golfers from various golf clubs participated in the 18 hole tournament. Recording the longest drive and emerging as the ultimate winner for the day is Foster Korang of the Damang Golf Club MTN instituted the tournament to get closer to   its corporate clients, interact with them in an informal setting and get a better understanding of their telecommunications needs and preferences says Serame Taukobong, CEO of MTN Ghana. GHS CHARGED JOURNALISTS TO JOIN FIGHT AGAINST MALNUTRITION

Mrs. Kate Quarshie, Acting Head of Nutrition, Ghana Health Service has advised   Journalists and media practitioners   to support the efforts of health institutions   in the country towards the   fight against undernutrition which is a significant contributor to poor health. She said the media has a major role to play in sensitizing the general public on health issues and charged Journalists to use the power at their disposal to educate the public on how to deal with malnutrition which has become a burden to Ghanaians. She equally called for a strong advocacy support on part of the private sector and other stakeholders to help scale up nutrition interventions and offer support for social behavior change activities on nutrition stressing that championing nutrition will result in further gains in economic growth, education and health in the country.
