A report on the GIJ’s maiden master’s graduation ceremony held at the forecourt of the school on Friday 18th March, 2016

The School of Graduate Studies under the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) on Friday 18 th March, 2016  graduated its first batch of ninety students who have successfully completed 15-months master degrees programmes in Journalism, Public Relations, Media Management and Development Communication at the forecourt of   the school in Osu, Accra. Out of the ninety-nine students admitted to start their programme of study in October 2014, 90 of them have been honored with postgraduate degrees within their chosen four areas of discipline.   Eight of these graduands offered journalism, whilst 15 of them read Media M anagement, Public Relations -27 and Development Communication 30.   In all fifty-three (53) of these graduands are male whilst 37 are females.
