VIDEO:T.T Brothers Donates To Tema SOS Village Ahead Of Easter Monday Festivities



It was supposed to be the usual annual Easter fiesta where kids of Tema SOS Village are accorded a royal treat to varieties of mouth-watering dishes served with chilled drinks,together with good music for their dancing feet, laced with lots of interesting fun games just to put smiles on their faces.
But things took a different turn this time around witnessing just donation of assorted items which took place on the Holy Saturday, a day before the Easter Monday, the actual day marked on the calendar of the donors for this kind of celebration.
Mr. Isaac Tetteh, the Managing Director of T.T Brothers Company Limited, a company that distributes Maracuja drinks and other alcoholic and non-alcholic beverages in the country said, the move was to pave way for his working staff to take off the Easter Monday just to celebrate with their families at home.
“For the past 15 years we’ve been organizing a party to celebrate with these kids and also donating alongside to the orphanage on Christmas days and Easter Mondays but this time around we thought we should only donate some items on this Saturday instead of the usual Easter Monday celebration so that our staff members can also have the day off to celebrate with their families at home instead”.
T. T. brothers Company Limited has been a generous contributor to the lives of the Tema SOS Village kids for the past 15 years since its  charity outreach agenda to the orphanage commenced.
His company through the support of its partners abroad and out of his own magnanimity as an MD has been very instrumental in throwing party for these unfortunate kids on every Christmas and Easter festive occasions which are days on the company’s calendar.
Aside the party which comes with galore of interesting fun games, music and other give-ways, donations of assorted items like bag of rice, cooking oil, assorted drinks are provided for the daily upkeep of the unfortunate kids.
It was almost like a pact signed between Uncle T” as he is affectionately called between his company and the orphanage to always throw a feast and donate to support these disadvantaged on the two festive occasions which is vividly highlighted on the company’s agenda annually.
Thankfully this year, has witnessed the renewal of that vow leading to a handsome donation of assorted items including 30 bags of, 20 cartons of Malt and 15 gallons of 1 litre cooking oil to be used for the upkeep of the kids during this Easter festive season.
Earlier today Saturday March 31, at the orphanage, the items were received on behalf of the kids by Ms. Soglohu Comfort, Mother of the Tema SOS Village, who thanked T.T Brothers Limited and his partners and evoked God’s blessings upon them for the gesture.
Speaking in an interview, Mr. Isaac Kojo Ackon, Director of the Tema SOS Village also expressed his gratitude to the donors.
He used the occasion to reach out to other corporate, religious and donor agencies including benevolent individuals in the country to emulate the gesture, adding “the village needs more support in other areas like healthcare and educational needs including people who will volunteer as mentors to groom these kids to grow up and become useful to the society”.
