Joseph Wemakor's folder:Meet Kojo Aidoo, the Journalist with unquenchable thirst for coconut

His burning love for coconut juice supersedes every other desire but he is much focused in life with the development of his country high on his agenda.

A coconut in the morning, afternoon and evening takes him away even on assignment.

This craze for a taste of something in a shell is even higher. These days he goes gaga with a very big spoon in the bag from place to place absorbing coconut juice and scooping off its fruit from the shell into his buccal cavity “nyafunyafu”.

Don’t be surprised if see Kojo Aidoo, a proud member of Journalists in Development (JID) fame on the streets of Accra using his spoon to scoop off coconut fruit from its shell.

Coconut water is not only a delicious and refreshing drink, it is also rich in electrolytes, enzymes, and minerals and good for everyone.
Coconut can be considered a complete food as it’s incredibly rich in vitamins, minerals, and calories.

It is advisable to drink at least one coconut a day, according to health experts.

Journalists In Development(JID) is a network of journalists focused on helping Ghana develop at cost through using their stories to shed light on issues affecting the growth of the country with the view of prompting the responsible authorities to take quick action in solving those problems on time.
