Toyota unveils new Fortuner car

Toyota Ghana Company  Limited, the leading automobile distributor in Ghana, has introduced into the Ghanaian market the perfect car of comfort,toughness and durability any man will dream of owing for life.

It is known as the “New Generation Fortuner”.
According to Mr. Tetsuya Suematsu, the Managing Director of  Toyota Ghana, the new Toyota Fortuner is the latest in Toyota’s series of SUV cars that has ‘undergone a complete model change with value and prestige that goes beyond customer expectation. It is uniquely designed in line with Toyota’s principle of continuous improvement and focus on meeting the changing customer needs.
Speaking at the launch, Mr. Suematsu said the name ‘Fortuner’ originated from the word “fortunate” which symbolizes a new type of SUV aimed at working and trendsetting customer segment. “Since its introduction, the Fortuner has earned admiration around the globe for its impressive quality, durability, reliability and all- terrain capability.
Chief Executive Officer of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), Mr. Seth Twum Akwaboah, in his delivery refers to Toyota as the name that evokes images of quality, reliability, durability and most importantly safety and comfort.
He lauded Toyota for its continuous development of ‘cutting edge and state-of-the-art designs of its new brands that ensures absolute customer comfort, safety and satisfaction’ for all.
According to the National Sales & Marketing Manager of Toyota, Mr. Andrew Lamptey, the new Fortuner has been designed more attractively with enhanced stylish interior and exterior features to meet global trends.
He further explained that “It has the core value of Toyota embedded in it that is; the quality, the durability and of course the reliability of Toyota which has a very wide appeal to a very wide spectrum of customers”.
Some other features of the new Toyota Fortuner, he highlighted include; enhanced sound absorbing chassis making it impressively quiet on the inside and improvement in safety which includes additional driver air bag for the knee, assuring the driver of maximum protection among others.
The launch which took place at the company’s showroom in Accra last Friday witnessed scores of Toyota customers, businessmen, government officials, corporate entities among other stakeholders in the automobile distribution industry in Ghana.
