ONLINE MEDIA OWNERS URGED TO MAKE GOOD USE OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY

The Former President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG), Mr.Kwasi Gyan- Apenteng has charged news editors and media platform managers to take the advantage of the internet revolution as a useful tool in promoting businesses rather than abusing it.
Mr. Apenteng was speaking to some selected managers and editors of various online media platforms in Accra at the first ever online news editors’ forum organized by MTN Ghana.

He recounted the olden days where technology was not available to help him discharge his duties on time as a Journalist and call on the participants to make good use of the technology for useful gains

He was optimistic that the MTN’s Vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital of experience will go a long way to enhance speed, comfort, and reliability and to meet customer demand and satisfaction

The MTN Online Forum according to Brand and advertising Manager of MTN Ghana, 

Mr. Eli Kpodo is aimed at creating an opportunity for MTN and managers of online platforms to discuss the opportunities available for business development and also promote MTN’s vision of leading the delivery of a bold new digital world.

He said “the internet revolution has just began, MTN will be driving data and speed to a higher dimension as global leaders in the market to ensure our customers experience a unique world of digital experience making their live a whole new brighter.

Meanwhile the forum has given the participants the opportunity to tour one of the biggest MTN’s Switch and Data Center at Shiashie in Accra to familiarize themselves with the state of the art technology being used by the company.
