SIC Ladies Presents Kia Spectra Saloon Car To Royal Seed Orphanage



Grace has found the founder of the Royal Seed Orphanage, Naomi Esi Amoah when she was handed over a Kia Spectra saloon car by the SIC Ladies Association(SICLA) at their recent visit to the  orphanage located at Bawjiase Papasi No.1 in the Central Region last Saturday April 21, 2018.
President of SICLA, Bernice Boachie who made the presentation of the used 2002 model Kia Spectra saloon car on behalf of the women group to the founder of the orphanage said, “the move to donate the car was in response to a plea made to the association by the orphanage during their previous visit regarding a transportation need.

In light of their plea, and upon previous visits, the association saw the urgent need to render their assistance to help meet the daily responsibilities of conveying the kids to and from school as as a quicker mode of access to hospitals for the newborn babies.

According to her, it was also meant to help ease her frequent rounds on time to deliver to meet the needs of the unfortunate kids taking cognizance of the bad nature of the road that connects the orphanage to town.

“The first time we the newly executives visited here in September last year, we saw that the road is too far for Madam Naomi to travel back and forth so we are hoping this car will help her in the meantime to make most of her rounds with ease” she added.

The SIC ladies at this time of their visit to the orphanage did not only donate a car  but other household supplies ranging from sanitary pads, baby showering gels, baby wipes, loaves of bread, bottles of cooking oils, used clothes, Nan baby Formula, baby clothes including food stuffs and more.

Members of SICLA also spent ample time cooking variety of mouth-watering dishes which was served with chilled soft drinks to put smile on the faces of every child in the orphanage.
Founder of Royal Seed Orphanage, Naomi Esi Amoah who received the car and the donated items on behalf of the orphanage could not hide her joy as she quickly thanked the donors and even pronounced God’s blessings upon them for the kind gesture.

“We are happy to see SIC ladies once again. They were here last year and promised to come back again and God is wonderful, they are back and Auntie Boachie as a leader of the association is able to donate to us a car. “We really appreciate what they’ve done so far to the orphanage because we were not expecting it”, she hinted.

Ms. Naomi Amoah also used the occasion to passionately appeal to the SIC Insurance Company Limited itself including other corporate organizations, Institutions, churches and philanthropists to come to the aid of the orphanage and support them with a bus to help convey the children to and back from school.

She identified inadequate electricity power supply including lack of clean water supply as major challenges the orphanage is faced with and therefore called on the general public to stem in to help procure a water treatment machine as well electrical power transformer to remedy the situation.

Giving to support the poor and the needy in the society comes with a lot of blessings but unfortunately only few people receive such blessings simply because the givers are too few.
The Holy Scripture in the book of Proverbs 19:17 reminds us of God’s blessings:“Whoever is kind to the poorly lends to the lord, and he will reward them for what they have done".

The SIC ladies Association is one of such givers who have really demonstrated their commitment to supporting the poor and the needy in the society especially the unfortunate kids of the Royal Seed Orphanage.

Since its inception 41 years ago SICLA has been supporting Royal Seed Orphanage in diverse ways but since the new executives took over office last year, this is the second time it has reached out generously to support the home.
