Gov’t Urged To Help Create Employment Opportunities For Nurses
Gov’t has been urged to as a matter of urgency intervene to create employment opportunities to relieve the plight of the numerous frustrated nurses and midwives in the country that could not get job after successful completion of studies. Asare Bediako in a friendly pose with Joseph Kobla Wemakor at Pantang Hospital This according to Asare Bediako Obed, Greater Accra Zonal President of the Ghana Association of Health Training Institutions (GAHTI) is the surest way to go in helping reduce the burden of unemployment on the youth especially trainee nurses and midwives thereby paving way for them to live in dignity. Trainee nurses and midwives are currently battling with Government over unemployment issues two years after completion of studies which has become a huge challenge in Ghana. Pres.
