GYEEDA report,action yet to be taken upon after one month of Prez. Mahama's directives
Various checks has indicated that so far no action has yet been taken a month after government has issued an action paper on scandalous revelations of graft at a youth employment agency Ghana is losing about fifty million Ghana cedis monthly as contracts which the committee recommended should be abrogated has still not been cancelled. The Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Agency (GYEEDA) came under fire after Joy FM's Manasseh Azure uncovered rot at the government-run agency. A ministerial committee was set up by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Elvis Afriyie Ankrah to look into allegations of massive corruption and fraud. A senior member of the ruling National Democratic Congress Sam Pee Yalley also described the report that came out of that investigation as horrible and stinking .
