NDK Financial Services holds 25 th Anniversary lecture, launches CSR Foundation   The Vice Chancellor of University of Ghana, Prof. Ernest Aryeetey has called for the reform of the Ghana Education Service (GES), saying it is in order to move Ghana’s education sector forward. According to him, this can only be achieved if government allows for wider public debate or discussion into restructuring of the GES to make the education system work effectively.   “It’s time we Ghanaians debate the structure and the functions of the GES to move the system forward”. “We have to reform the GES, there’s no reason today why the school boss can’t take basic decisions on teachers, there’s absolutely no reason why he cannot take basic decision on the pupils or students”.  “There has to be a forum for us Ghanaians to debate the issues.
