Uniex Ghana Ltd. partners Miracle Wave Band for 2015 sparkling moment
The 2015 sparkling moment event has
been launched at the African Union Village in Accra with a call on all
political parties to desist from any action that will jeopardize
the peace that the country currently enjoys ahead of the 2016 elections.
The sparkling moment is an African
musical festival that seeks to help calm nerves as well as foster peace during
the 2016 election year to enhance corporate growth, peace and national
development.
The 2015 edition launch seeks
to help create awareness on the need to work together as Ghanaians towards
ensuring a peaceful 2016 elections. It is also aimed at offering publicity and
highlighting the benefits of the event which is slated for December 24, at
the banquet hall of the State House in Accra.
The Chief Executive Chairman of
Uniex Ghana Limited, Ing. Dr. Daniel Markin stressed the need for Ghanaians to
continue to live in absolute peace and harmony at all times even after the 2016 December
polls.
According to him, Ghana is bigger
than any individual therefore any attempt by any political party to destroy the
peace Ghanaians enjoy before, during and after the 2016 general elections will
not succeed.
Ing. Dr. Dan Markin in an interview
with Journalists introduced the event as “a program which puts all forms of
entertainment into one spot where you have music, comedy, choreography
interspersed with poetry and you have personalities you never thought could
make you laugh who makes you laugh and you’ll feel that you are somebody,
that’s what sparkle moment is all about that can move you into the next year
and all of us put together the peace and tranquility that we have in our
country”.
He called on all political parties
in the country to exercise restraint and wait upon the Electoral Commission to
decide whether to come out with a new voters register or clean the existing one
since the Commission is the only authority mandated by law to exercise such
powers even as the debate on the new voter’s registration forum unfolds.
Dr. Markin said the rationale
behind the annual celebration of the event was due to the dramatic turnout of
its maiden edition which was held on December 24, 2014. He expressed
surprise at the dramatic turn out of over a thousand participants even when the
actually event was planned for only five-hundred people.
He said this has convinced him and
his partners to believe that there’s the need to extend the sparkling moment
celebration to cover more people in subsequent years ahead and also make it an
annual event henceforth.
Explaining the usefulness of the
event as a tool to engender peace ahead of the 2016 elections, Dr. Markin
said, “Elections are not everything, elections are just a means for
us to govern ourselves in a certain manner. Our country has been polarized
…sparkling moments take you away from the polarization and I want to call on
everybody to embrace it”.
He therefore called on all Ghanaians
to patronize the show and equally appealed to corporate entities and individuals
to partner and support Miracle Wave International Limited and his outfit
towards a successful planning of the event.
The 2015 sparkling moments show is
touted as a night of splendor and wonder, with spectacular events
like amazing choreography, poetry recitals, drama interspersed with good
music for the dancing feet.
It is expected to bring on board the
crĆØme de la crĆØme of the society, renowned comedians, eminent personalities as
well as an array of musical stars who will be singing and performing to grace
the occasion in grandeur including the Miracle Wave Band which is highly
charged to thrill patrons with sweet melodies that will keep them dancing for
the whole night.
Some of the performing artistes
include Becca, Bisa K’Dei, and Kwabena Kwabena, Amandzeba, as well as the
celebrated Ghanaian Comedian Kalybos and his friends whose duty is to make
people laugh at all cost.
Equally hyped as “a night of
bliss…filled with entertainment” will also see greater fireworks at display.
The night also promises to bring together on board flag bearers of the
various political parties to wine and dance, make merry on one stage in
order to foster peace and harmony.
“You see, when the people down there
see that their leaders are dining and wining together, it will help them ease
all the tension, which forms part of the strategy for the installation of the
sparkling moment concept which has come to stay in Ghana for good” says Ing. Dr. Daniel Markin.
