The recognition of this important fact was underscored by the recent signing of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement. Youth who migrate from the Northern parts of Ghana to the South have mostly embarked on this journey not just for the sake of relocation but due to push factors such as to poverty, to evade early marriages, lack of jobs and continuous neglect of their regions by government in its developmental agenda.
