As part of efforts to enhance teaching and learning of disadvantaged children in the country, the Social Security National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) has presented a cheque of GH₵ 50,000.00 to Creating New Achievable Beginnings; an Accra based NGO in education. It is to assist them towards financing a school boarding house building facility project and expansion of the school building to cater for admission and training of more special needs children within the country. The gesture according to SSNIT’s Customer Service Manager of Corporate Affairs Dept., Mrs. Victoria Gifty Abaidoo forms part of the company’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) in giving back to the society. Jumia Ghana, in partnership with MTN, MTN Solution Space screened 10 shortlisted teams at a live pitch event which took place at the MTN head office on April 8th 2016. PRINCE KWAKYE The  10 teams ; UniApp, KwikAuto-Care Group, SchoolFees, Chalkboard Education, Hovver, Medrx Limited, Diggibonds, eCampus LLC, Leran Delivery Service, eNow were shortlisted from 85 received applications in Ghana. As part of measures to curb the spread of breast cancer diseases in the country, the Greater Accra zone of the Ghana Association of Health Training Institutions (GAHTI has launched its beauty pageant project aimed at raising awareness on breast cancer in Ghana.  The project dubbed “Face of GAHTI Ambassador of Health 2016” is a beauty pageant competition which seeks to unearth the most talented, bold and beautiful lady who stands out among other fifty contestants vying for the crown as the next face of GAHTI.   The launching forms part of GAHTI’s 16 th week anniversary celebration slated for this April which   promises an array of youthful fun-packed activities lined up to thrill patrons.
