The streets of Accra on the eve of 15th of November, 2014 witnessed the biggest ever street carnival on climate change as the largest climate change activists group, 350-Ghana Reduce Our Carbon team (G-ROC) cum PLUZZ FM a leading showbiz FM station in Ghana mobilized Ghanaian music stars to perform and demonstrate on a big stage in order to sensitize the youths on the importance of renewable and sustainable energy.   In front Joseph Kobla Wemakor,the Project Coordinator,3rd left is Ezekiel Chibeze, Project Director & the rest of  350 G-ROC team members look on. The Vegetarian Association of Ghana (VegGhana) last Saturday honoured Radio Hogbe 106.5 FM at the launching ceremony of the 43rd IVU World Vegfest 2015 event dubbed "Vegfest Expo” at the Efua Sutherland Children's Park. Rev. Dr. Mrs Rosa Mills, Chairperson of Vegfest Expo presenting a certificate of recognition to Joseph Kobla Wemakor The honour was an acknowledgement of the stations diverse contribution towards the coverage of VegGhana’s programs since its inception. The Vegetarian Association of Ghana (VegGhana) has called on the Ministry of Health to help intensify efforts towards promoting the consumption of plant based diets in the country. They equally appealed to Government to consider incorporating more plant based diets into the school feeding program. This, they believe will help reduce the cost of   school feeding program as well as improve upon the health budget making it possible for the government to come out with more productive and developmental projects at its own merit of funding.
