Youth rally support for Mahama, Vanderpuye

Member of Parliament for Ablekuma South Constituency Fritz Baffour has predicted a one-touch victory for President John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming November 7 polls. According to him, President Mahama's notable achievements during his first tenure of office are evident enough for the good people of Ghana to retain him in office for the second term. He was speaking at the official launching of an NDC youth group called ‘Organized Youth for Mahama and Oko’ (OYOMO).   OYOMO is a community-based NDC youth campaign group formed with the aim of mobilizing youth within Ablekuma South Constituency to rise up and actively campaign and galvanize support for the president and the NDC parliamentary aspirant. Emefa Sedziafa is the 2016 face of GIJ

Emefa Sedziafa, a 20-year-old diploma student of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) has been crowned the 2016 face of GIJ in a ‘hotly contested all-night long battle’ between 10 bold and beautiful ladies vying for the ultimate crown. The keenly contested all-night long battle which lasted for six hours almost left the four-member panel of judges indecisive in determining the fate of who actually wears the ultimate crown as the face of GIJ.   The Judges made up of Nadia Ntanu (2014 Miss Ghana), Dr. Albert James Rahman and Miss Emilia Ainooson have had indeed a tough time in declaring the winner for the pageant.   Among the 10 beautiful contestants, 20 year- old Emefa Sedziafa, Diploma in communication student was declared the 2016 face of GIJ.   For her prize, Emefa took home a cash prize of GH₵ 2, 000 including products from sponsors, free photo-shoot with EF Photography and a free make-up voucher.
